In the USA, Visitors medical insurance mainly refers to the medical insurance meant for those outsiders who have visited the country. Visitors medical insurance USA is a temporary medical insurance that would cover illnesses/injuries or other physical disability after purchasing the policy and while the insured is outside his/her home country.

Coverage of USA visitor medical insurance:

• Eligible medical expenses (covering doctor's office visits, surgery charge, x-ray, and other related medical aspects)

• However this coverage only applies to new illness/injury and not any pre-existing conditions

Types of Visitor Medical Insurance:

There are mainly two types of visitor insurance plans:

1. Scheduled Benefit Plan (provides limited coverage and pays limited money for every process)

2. Comprehensive Plan (here the insured pays the deductible, and thereafter the insurer pays 80% of the first $5000 expense with the insured paying 20%. After $5000, the insurer pays 100% of policy.
